Columbus Zoo & Aquarium Supports the Fishing Cat

Growing up in Ohio I was an active Columbus Zoo goer from a young age. See proof below:

Joanna trying to become a sheep. Joanna making friends with a gigantic sheep, or then again, maybe Jo is just really tiny.

I’m pretty sure I even spent the night at the Columbus Zoo once with a class. We stayed near the wolf exhibit…and it was AWESOME!

So you can imagine how excited I was when the Columbus Zoo chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers decided to support Cat in Water – the answer was of course very very excited! Thanks for your support Columbus Zoo.

Zoo’s play a critical role in educating the public about species they might not encounter on a day-to-day basis – such as the fishing cat.

If you have the opportunity, stop by the Columbus Zoo and check out the fishing cat exhibit (shown above) to witness these cats up close and personal. Send us your photos. We’d love to share them on our CAT in WATER flickr stream! bark-meow!
